The Hungarian agricultural sector is looking forward to another significant support opportunity, the purpose of which is to help the development of small agricultural enterprises. 54/2023 of the Governing Authority of the Common Agricultural Policy. (IX.13.) On the basis of Article 68 (1) of Decree AM, he announced the call for tenders entitled "Investment support for small agricultural enterprises", code number KAP-RD09a-1-24.
Purpose of the tender
The primary purpose of the call is to expand the investment opportunities of small plants and improve production efficiency. Strengthening the foundations of agricultural production not only helps economic competitiveness, but also contributes to improving the quality of life in rural areas.
Eligible activities
In the framework of the tender, investments related to agricultural activities, with or without construction, can be implemented. This may include, for example:
establishment or development of agricultural buildings,
acquisition of production equipment,
introduction of innovative technologies.
Who can apply?
In the context of the call for support, the following can submit a support application:
primary producers,
sole proprietors who qualify as agricultural producers,
social cooperatives,
whose operating value in the last complete closed business year is at least 5,000 but does not exceed 10,000 EUR STÉ.
Conditions and amount of support
Form of support : non-refundable support.
Maximum amount : up to HUF 10 million.
Advance request : a maximum of 25% of the grant amount can be requested as an advance.
Implementation period : A maximum of 24 months is available for the physical completion of the operation from the date of finalization of the grant deed.
Application submission periods
It is possible to submit grant applications in several stages in 2025:
March 5 – March 18
March 19 – April 1
October 1 – October 14
October 15 – October 27
Expected results
In the framework of the application nationwide it is possible to support nearly 2,500-3,000 projects, which can significantly contribute to the renewal of Hungarian agriculture.
